Abstract:
To reduce disposal work of extracted scum by evenly accumulating the extracted scum in a storage box.SOLUTION: A beverage extraction unit 30 which comprises a cylindrical cylinder 331 and a filter block 332 that can move to approach or depart from a lower surface opening 331a of the cylinder, and extracts a beverage from beverage raw materials and hot water injected in the cylinder 331, whose lower surface opening 331a is blocked by the filter block 332 as a result of movement of the filter block 332 in a manner to approach the cylinder 331, comprises a scraper 334 that is provided to be movable between a first position and a second position along a top surface of a mesh member 336 of the filter block 332, which has moved in a manner to depart from the cylinder 331, and removes extracted scum K placed on the mesh member 336 by moving from one of the first position and the second position to the other. Every time a beverage is extracted, the starting position of the scraper 334 for removing the extracted scum K is set to either the first position or the second position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
