Abstract:
To provide a lightweight arm-shaped stress transmitting member capable of preventing any impairment of the design property, and demonstrating the impact resistant characteristic.
The arm-shaped stress transmitting member covers the periphery of a fiber-reinforced plastic member with a woven fabric consisting of carbon fibers with a part thereof overlapping. The fiber-reinforced plastic member consists of a curved surface part in which the radius of curvature is substantially ≥3 mm, or consists of the curved surface part and a flat surface part. Further, in the arm-shaped stress transmitting member, the average overlap length of the overlapped woven fabric is ≥3 mm.
