Abstract:
To provide an asphalt mixture silo suitable in terms of safety and operation and capable of determining whether an asphalt mixture in a conveying bucket is discharged, and an operation control method for the same.SOLUTION: An asphalt mixture silo includes: a photoelectric sensor 44 for detecting the presence of an asphalt mixture in a discharge port 34 at a lower part of a conveying bucket 25 moved to a discharge position of the asphalt mixture; a time-limit timer for setting an open time of discharge gates 35a, 35b for opening and closing the discharge port 34; determination means for determining that the discharge of the asphalt mixture has been completed normally when the photoelectric sensor 44 detects that the asphalt mixture is not present in the discharge port 34 until the time-limit timer is timed up since opening the discharge gates 35a, 35b, and determining to be abnormal when the photoelectric sensor 44 detects that the asphalt mixture is present in the discharge port 34 until the time-limit timer is timed up; and alarm issuing means for issuing an alarm when determining to be abnormal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
