Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-crystal asymmetric molecular magnet having magnetism, optical activity, colored transparency, a relatively high transition temperature, etc.
SOLUTION: This asymmetric molecular magnet is composed of a single crystal expressed by general formula of [Mn(L)]3[Cr(CN)6]2.4H2O (where, L represents an optically active (R or S)-1,2-diamine, its derivative, optically active (R or S)-1,3-diamine, or its derivative).
