Abstract:

PURPOSE: To satisfactorily position each solid state image pickup element in a color video camera.
CONSTITUTION: A prism 4 where the solid state image pickup element 5R, 5G and 5B are assemble is attached to a master lens 72 via lens mount 71. A chart box 73 including a test chart is set at the tip of the lens 72. Meanwhile the elements 5R-5B are provided with the jigs 81R, 81G and 81B respectively to perform the 6-dimensional positioning actions. These jigs 81R-81B are connected to an image signal processing circuit box 83 via the harness 82R, 82G and 82b. The signals are supplied to a measuring instrument 84 or a high resolution monitor image receiver 85 from the box 83. Thus an operator operates the jigs 81R-81B to position the elements 5R-5B and performs the fixing jobs while looking at the instrument 84 or the receiver 85.
