Abstract:
To achieve automatic brake control for a truck or a bus.
The automatic brake control device performs step-by-step brake control which automatically gradually increases the braking force over a plurality of stages in time series, when TTC derived based on a relative distance and a relative speed between an object and a vehicle is lower than a predetermined value. Furthermore, the automatic brake control device automatically selects an arbitrary braking pattern according to the height of the gravity center of the vehicle.
