Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the automatic phase controller which is stably operated even in the case of phase fluctuation caused by surrounding temperature fluctuation.

CONSTITUTION: Pulse signals S37 and S38, which change polarities at their polarity change point and are equipped with pulse width for the delay time of a fixed delay line 44, are generated from a data signal S31 by an exclusive OR circuit 43 and the fixed delay line 44. A pulse signal S39, which changes a polarity at the polarity change point of the pulse signal S38 and is equipped with pulse width corresponding to the phase difference of the data signal S31 and a clock signal S35, is provided from the pulse signal S38 and the clock signal S35 by an exclusive OR circuit 46. Then, a phase control signal S33 is generated based on the pulse signals S37 and S39. A temperature characteristic correcting signal generating means 53 is provided to cancel the temperature fluctuation in the phase of the clock signal, and its output signal S42 is added to the phase control signal S33 and applied to a varying means 41 for the clock phase.
