Abstract:
To provide an automatic starting mechanism of a fire extinguisher which can automatically perform initial fire extinction when the fire is sensed without using a power source and an electric circuit, and provide an automatic fire extinguisher.SOLUTION: A first arm member 11 acting as a starting lever of a fire extinguisher is arranged in parallel with a second arm member 12, both arm members are connected to each other by connection members 13, 14 with respective intermediate points of both arm members separated, and are held in such a manner that one end side and the other end side of both arm members can be alternately opened/closed with the respective intermediate points as fulcrums. A heat sensing member 15 is provided on one end side of the first and second arm members. The first and second arm members are attached to a fire extinguisher body 1 in a state where a valve body 4 is closed. The first arm member is biased in a direction where the heat sensing member extends by a coil spring 18. When the heat sensing member is heated and melted by the fire and the fixed state on one end side of the first and second arm members is released, the first arm member is biased by the coil spring to open the valve body 4 of the fire extinguisher body, and thereby a fire extinguishing agent 2 is jetted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
