Abstract:
To suppress an error in performing automatic operation while tracking a marker.SOLUTION: An automatic turning system 100, which allows a vehicle 200 to travel while tracking a marker 310, comprises a marker sensing device 110 that senses a position of the marker 310 in a vehicle width direction when the vehicle passes on the marker 310, and a turning control device 120 that controls turning of turning wheels 210. The turning control device 120 comprises: a width position identifying part 121 that identifies a width position showing the position of the marker 310 in the vehicle width direction on the basis of a signal obtained from the marker sensing device 110; a marker actual position obtaining part 122 that obtains a marker actual position showing the position of the marker 310; a movement amount calculating part 123 that calculates movement amounts by which the vehicle 200 has travelled until the width position identifying part 121 identifies the width position; and a vehicle position calculating part 124 that calculates a vehicle position showing a position of the vehicle 200 on the basis of the marker actual position, the width position and the movement amounts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
