Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatically watering apparatus for saving water and reducing a maintenance fee, useful as a water supply source for fire extinguishing in the occurrence of a fire, by drawing up only a necessary amount of well water and automatically watering.
SOLUTION: This automatically watering apparatus comprises a bed 9 for a garden which is installed on the ground, has a water tank part in an inner bottom part 1 and a soil part 8 formed through a water absorbing mat 7 on the upper side of the water tank part, a well part for collecting underground water, a water supply pipe 15 equipped with a drawing up means for connecting the well for collecting underground water to the bed for a garden, a limit switch for stopping the operation of the drawing up means when water in the water tank part reaches a prescribed water level and a drain pipe 17 for returning water overflown from the water tank part to the well for collecting underground water. Consequently water is saved, a maintenance fee is reduced, the apparatus is urgently usable as a water supply source for fire extinguishing in the occurrence of a fire and restores a natural environment.
