Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the fitting work performance of a weatherstrip and also improve manufacturing and fitting work efficiency in relation to a molding fitting base part.
CONSTITUTION: The vehicle outside end part 25a of the fitting base part 25 of a metal retainer 23 fixed to the outer panel 22b of a roof side rail 22 is integrally provided with the molding fitting base part 34 of a decorative molding. The vehicle outside end part 25a of the fitting base part 25 with a hollow seal part 24 previously held thereto in the engaged state, and the base end part 35 of the molding fitting base part 34 are screwingly fixed together to the outer panel 22b by a machine screw 37 inserted from a circular hold 39.
