Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an automobile window glass antenna which can be attached to various types of automobiles to ensure the desirable reception performance, causes no attachment gaps between the glass surface and the antenna, and also does not easily cause the breakage of a feeder cable.
CONSTITUTION: A vertically long radiation pattern 3 and a horizontally long ground pattern 4 are formed on a glass epoxy substrate 2. Then a rubber shearthing case 8 is attached on the substrate 2 to cover almost the half of the pattern 4, and an opening 8e is formed at the right side 8d of the case 8 to draw out a feeder cable 5 to the right side. The overflowed part 4a of the pattern 4 can be cut. Then the rear face of the substrate 2 excluding the part 4a is pasted to the window glass by means of a double-sided tape 9.
