Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary lock for a vending machine, the auxiliary lock being large enough to give the impression of difficulty in breakage and being easy to lock and unlock. SOLUTION: A door blocking fixture 110 is formed in the shape of a long curved bar and provided with approximately U-shaped projections 112, 14 capable of projecting in front of the door 6 of an automatic vending machine, a connection 13, and a backward proximal end 111 and a tip end 15 which can extend around the main body 1 of the automatic vending machine. The proximal end 111 of the door blocking fixture 110 is freely rotationally supported against the bottom surface side of the main body 1, and the tip end 15 moves approximately parallel to the front surface of the door 6 to cause the projections 112, 14 and the connection 13 to project in front of the door 6 or evacuate from in front of the door 6. A locking member 27 locking and unlocking the tip end 15 via a predetermined key is secured to the bottom surface of the main body 1. The door blocking fixture 110 is divided into a tip end member and a proximal end member which are freely rotationally joined together by the projection 112, with the tip end 15 moving approximately perpendicular to the front surface of the door 6 to approach or leave the locking member 27.
