To provide a thermal turbomachine for reducing the whole weight of a rotor, avoiding breaking due to fragility of a blade, and enhancing the useful life of the machine by improving an axial-flow thermal turbomachine in the form of having the rotor 1 composed of a metallic material, and forming a blade cascade of one row by installing a plurality of moving blades 3 composed of an intermetallic compound in a peripheral groove of the rotor.
This thermal turbomachine is constituted so that at least two moving blades 3' composed of a ductile material are arranged between the moving blades 3 of the intermetallic compound in the blade cascade by mutually keeping a uniform interval. The moving blades 3' composed of this ductile material are constituted remarkably longer than the moving blades 3 composed of the intermetallic compound, or have a blade tip shape different from the moving blades 3 composed of the intermetallic compound in the same length.
