Abstract:
To provide a new β-hydroxylalkylamide utilized as a crosslinking agent for a powder coating containing polyesters and acrylates, and a corresponding method for producing the same compound.
This β-hydroxylalkylamide is expressed by the following general formula (I) (R1 is H or a 1-10C linear or branched alkyl; R2 is a 1-5C linear or branched alkyl), and produced by a reaction of a corresponding carboxylic acid derivative and alkanolamine.
