Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new lipopolysaccharide absorbent (a bacterial endotoxin absorbent) and a screening method for the same capable of easily synthesizing, easily controlling various similar structures, and using in absorbing various lipopolysaccharide.
SOLUTION: The screening method for the bacterial endotoxin absorbent, and the bacterial endotoxin absorbent comprising a specific peptide library found by the screening method are characterized by that a binding assay (a binding experiment) with the peptide library is conducted by using a lipid A radioactive marker introducing a radioactive element to a phosphonooxyethyl derivative of coliform lipid A or biosynthetic precursor lipid A.
