Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a bag making/packaging machine built in compact design with the number of parts decreased for execution of much efficient bag making and packaging by providing a means that moves automatically, without depending on manual work, a guide roller and a snaking-prevention means to a position of noninterference when film is mounted and a former is replaced.
CONSTITUTION: Film 4 unwound from a film roll 1 is formed with a former 6 into a tube-like shape with its seam sealed, and a bag is formed afterward by applying end-sealing to both the upper and the lower parts of the tube 5. A guide roller 32 for applying the film 4 along a skirt section 12 of the former 6 is mounted on a sliding means that can approach to and recede from the skirt section 12. The sliding means is interlocked with a positioning means that makes the guide roller 32 stop in a position adjacent to the skirt section 12.
