PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag making and packaging machine which can make bags at high speed whose height can be suppressed as a machine.
SOLUTION: The bag making and packaging machine 1 includes a bag making part including a lateral sealing mechanism 17 and a strip attaching part including a moving mechanism 32. The bag making part makes the bag B filled with an article. The moving mechanism 32 moves the bag B made by the bag making part slantly downward. The strip attaching part attaches the bag B to a strip S after moving the bag by the moving mechanism 32.
