Abstract:
To provide a balance weight for a vehicle wheel to perform reliable lock of it to a wheel without using lead.
This balance weight 10 for a vehicle wheel comprises (1) a clip 14 made of a metal consisting of a hook part 12 formed into a shape in cross section, corresponding to that of the flange edge part of a wheel and a leg part 13 to hold the weight made of a resin composition having high specific gravity and adhered and fixed alone to a flange edge part, and (2) a weight 12, mounted on the leg part 13 and formed of a thermoplastic resin composition containing 2.5-8.0 wt.% thermoplastic elastomer and 97.5-92 wt.% tungsten powder.
