Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a motorcycle engine mounting device desirable in the maintainability of an engine with high vibration isolating effect by connecting the front parts of a lateral pair of frame main tubes by a bridge, and fastening the upper end of an engine to the bridge through a bracket formed into U-shape.
CONSTITUTION: A bridge 2 is laterally welded to the front parts of a lateral pair of main tubes 1, and a stay 9 is welded backward to the center of the bridge 2 so as to fasten the center of a U-shape bracket 10 fixedly to the stay 9. The upper end of an engine 8 is then bolt-fastened to both sides of the rear part of the bracket 10 from the lateral direction.
