Abstract:
To improve bonding of a base fabric of a long nip press belt to a polymer resin coating film.
This base material for coated belts is a long nip press belt equipped with a base support structure having threads coated with a polymer resin. The polymer resin material used for the threads has affinity to the polymer material used for coating the belt, thus, the coating film on the belt not only mechanically but also chemically bonds to the base fabric.
