Abstract:
To provide a base paper for deep draw molding processing having low environmental load, high extensibility, and difficulty in forming cracks in paper faces on deep draw molding, and a deep draw molded product using the same.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a base paper for deep draw molding processing, in which: the base paper is assembled with a paper substrate layer comprising a paper substrate; a length-weight average fiber length of a pulp constituting the paper substrate is 0.60 mm or over and 2.40 mm or under; in the pulp constituting the paper substrate, the number ratio of fine fibers having a fiber length of 0.2 mm or under is 8% or over and 35% or under; breaking elongations of the base paper in the longitudinal direction and the cross direction are respectively 3.0% or over; and a geometric mean of the breaking elongation in the longitudinal direction and the cross direction is 4.0% or over.SELECTED DRAWING: None
