Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for screening paging information depending on a device load's magnitude and the like to perform control such as discarding, in a base station device in a mobile communication system.SOLUTION: A base station device which is connected to a core network in a mobile communication system and communicates with user equipment comprises: a paging processing unit which receives paging information and priority information from the core network and calculates a periodically arriving paging transmission period on the basis of the paging information; and a transmission control unit which creates a paging message storing the paging information and transmits the paging message to the user equipment side in the paging transmission period. The transmission control unit is configured so as to postpone transmission of non-priority paging information to the next or succeeding paging transmission period when a processing load of the base station device is larger than a predetermined threshold.
