Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable real-time forward error correction processing on a receiving device side when media information and forward error correction information are asynchronously transmitted to a receiving device.SOLUTION: A forward error correction information generating device 2 for receiving a media information packet and generating a plurality of forward error correction information packets comprises: transmission end time determining means 23 for determining a transmission end time of a plurality of forward error correction information packets using a predetermined bit rate and an amount of media information packet data when a bit rate of the received media information packet exceeds the predetermined bit rate; and transmission time determining means 23 for determining that each transmission time of each forward error correction information packet with equal interval till the transmission end time and transmitting each forward error correction information packet.
