Title:
BATTERY SETTING-STATE DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2500088
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate an error in detection at low cost whether a primary battery is set or not.
CONSTITUTION: A battery setting-state detector comprises a thin disk-shaped primary battery (B1) 11 for supplying power to a load circuit 12, a secondary battery (B2) 14 as a subsidiary battery to the primary battery (B1) 11, and a storing part for storing the primary battery (B1) through a battery holder. The storing part includes a contact terminal 24 put in contact with a positive electrode of the primary battery (B1) 11, a contact terminal 23 with one end thereof put in contact with a negative electrode of the primary battery (B1) 11 while the other end is grounded, a contact terminal 22 with one end put in contact with negative electrode, and a CPU 17 for detecting whether the primary battery (B1) 11 is set or not on the basis of conditions whether the contact terminal 22 is put in contact with the other contact terminal 23 through the negative electrode of the battery (B1) 11 when the primary battery (B1) 11 is set in the storing part in a given direction.
