To provide a bead setting device for eliminating the risk of the deterioration of the uniformity of a product tire by enabling storage and arrangement in a bending part of a carcass band without expanding or contracting its diameter to displace a bead holder for holding a bead core.
The bead core 5 is stored and arranged at deformation caused by enlarging the diameter of the bending part at the inside of each bending part 3 of the carcass band 2 having the bending part 3 which is cylindrically formed on a molding drum 1 and bent in the mutually facing direction on the outer peripheral side. The bead holder 6 which positions and holds the bead core 5 at a position in a predetermined radial direction on the outer peripheral side more than the bending part 5 before the deformation caused by enlarging the diameter is provided in the axis line direction and the diameter-enlarging direction so as to be displaceable, and displaced in the axis line direction at the position of the bead holder 6 adjacent to the end side in the axis line direction, and a slide plate 8 displaced inward in the radial direction of the bead holder 6 with respect to the holding position for positioning the bead core is provided.
