To surely protect a human body from an earthquake at that site without necessity to take refuge in another place even when this earthquake occurs by absorbing impulse force applied from objects dropped or let fall down by the earthquake to a ceiling part through impulse absorbing parts at pole parts.
A main body 1 of bed is supported by pole parts 4 while fixing four corners to outer cylindrical parts 7, and outer cylindrical part connecting members 6 are horizontally provided at the upper and lower parts of the outer cylindrical parts 7 in order to connect these outer cylindrical parts 7. Further, between inner cylindrical parts 8 and the outer cylindrical parts 7, impulse absorbing parts 9 composed of stretchable coil springs for compression are interposed at lower positions. These impulse absorbing parts 9 absorb impulse force F applied from objects dropped or let fall down by the earthquake to a ceiling part 2. Thus, even when an earthquake occurs while a user sleeps on the main body 1 of bed, it is not necessary to take refuge in the other place and his/her body can be surely protected from this earthquake at this site.
