Abstract:
To provide a belt conveyor capable of maintaining optimal tension, and of preventing a conveyance belt from being slipped, even though elongation of the conveyance belt is generated.SOLUTION: There is provided a belt conveyor 1 comprising a drive pulley 2, a driven pulley 2a, and a conveyance belt 3 wound between the drive pulley 2 and the driven pulley 2a. In the belt conveyor 1, a tension device 6 for keeping tensile force of the conveyance belt 3 constant is disposed on a loosening side Y of the conveyance belt 3 near the drive pulley 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
