Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and exactly count the number of descent times on a slope by adding only one to the number of the descent times when an altitude change quantity is larger than a specified value during a specified time in a case where a user rides on a ski lift and ascends a high place.
CONSTITUTION: A time counting circuit 4 serves to transmit an altitude measuring timing signal to CPU 1 about every minute. A pressure sensor 5 serves to receive a start signal transmitted from CPU 1 and send an electric signal in response to air pressure at its place up to CPU 1 through an A/D conversion circuit 6. CPU 1 serves to set an altitude obtained to perform altitude measurement processing to RAM 7 successively. CPU 1 serves to find an altitude change (increase) quantity ΔH obtained from a former altitude to a last altitude and set it to RAM 7. When the altitude change ΔH exceeds a reference altitude change quantity previously set in RAM (namely, rise prior to descent), only one is added to a register value of the number of times. When the descent is started, the altitude change ΔH becomes negative and in a case where a negative altitude change ΔH of the number of the specified times is detected, the number-of-the times counting processing of its descent is completed.
