Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow torsion forming on a work by forming nearly rectangular slits on a work remaining the oppositely facing minute connecting parts, making a line between these connecting parts as a folding line and thereby folding the work inside the slit at the folding line as a rotary axis.
CONSTITUTION: Nearly rectangular slits S are formed on a work remaining minute connecting parts J which are roughly one half of the thickness of the plate, oppositely facing with each other. The area of the work is divided into two parts with these slits S as a border, a work WA outside the slits S and a work piece WB inside the slits S. A line between the oppositely facing minute connecting parts J of the work piece WB is made a folding line WL, and the work piece WB is rotated clockwise around the folding line WL as the rotary axis C. Thus, the minute connecting parts J are twisted at 90° like hinges at both ends of the work piece WB, and a torsion forming is made possible.
