To provide a bending method of metal plate, a tool used therefor, a bent article formed by bending method and an intermediate bent article under bending process, which have high production efficiency and is superior in design.
The bending method of metal plate includes: a step A of forming two recessed parts 4, 4 arranged parallel to each other and double grooves 2 having a projection 5 arranged between the recessed parts 4, 4 in the inside of a bending part of the metal plate 1; a step B of forming a projection 3 having two inflection points, which is composed of a curve tangential to a surface of the metal plate 1 in a position at the opposite side of the double grooves 2 by sandwiching the metal plate 1; and step C of bending the metal plate 1 along the double grooves 2. The double grooves 2 and the projection 3 are formed by plastic deformation by the tool and have high production efficiency. In addition, cracks or wrinkles do not occur on the outside 9 of the bending part, resulting in a smooth surface having a small bend radius and a continuous planar surface is emphasized to improve the design.
