Abstract:
To obtain a new benzensulfonamide derivative having both of thromboxane A2 antagonism and leukotriene D4 antagonism and useful as a platelet aggregation-suppressing agent, an antithrombotic agent, an antiasthmatic agent, an antiallergic agent., etc.
This compound is represented by formula I [R1 is H, a halogen, a lower alkyl, a lower alkoxy or nitro; R2 is F-substituted 4-8C alkyl; R3 is H or a lower alkyl; X is S, CH=CH; (n) is 2-4], e.g. methyl 4-[5-[4- chlorophenylsulfonylamino)-6-fluorohexyl]-2-thienyl]lactate. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting an amine derivative of formula II with a sulfonyl chloride derivative of formula III in a solvent in the presence of a base.
