Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: Benzothiazepine derivative of formula I (where R1=H, C2-6 alkanoyl; R2=H, C1-6 alkyl; n=0-3; R3 = phenyl having 1 to 3 pieces of substituents, which is selected from among halogen, trifluoromethyl, methyl, C1-6 alkoxy, alkylthio, nitro, cyano, carbamoyl, etc., or aromatic heterocyclic group, such as pyridyl or imidazolyl).
EXAMPLE: (+)-Cis-(2S,3S)-3-acetyloxy-2,3-dihydro-5-[2-{[2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl) amino-2-oxoethyl](methyl)amino}ethyl]-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,5(5H) benzothiazepin-4-one.
USE: drugs for cardiac blood vessels.
PROCESS: The compd. of formula I is obtd. by reacting a compd. of formula II with a compd. of formula III.
