Abstract:

To provide a polyester film that can perform in-mold molding accompanied by large transformation even if orientation is performed to attain a sufficient thickness precision.

This biaxially oriented polyester film for in-mold molding is characterized in that breaking ductility at 120°C is 350-500%, rupture stress is 10-30 MPa, and thickness unevenness is 5% or less. The biaxially oriented polyester film for in-mold molding has a polyester film composed of a laminated film of polyethylene terephthalate (A) which contains 4-15 mol% of diethylene glycol residues with respect to all glycol components and amorphous polyester (B).
