Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cyclic diene copolymer which is prepared by copolymerizing an unsaturated compound with an easily producible cyclic conjugated diene monomer having a high polymerization activity.
SOLUTION: This bicyclic conjugated diene copolymer is prepared by copolymerizing a bicyclic conjugated diene monomer component containing at least one compound selected from among compounds represented by formula (I) with at least one unsaturated compound other than the above monomer component. In formula (I), R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, and R6 are each H, a halogen, or a 1-20C alkyl or haloalkyl group; (n) and (m) are each an integer of 0-10; and X1, X2, Y1, and Y2 are each H, a halogen, or a 1-20C alkyl or haloalkyl group. When (m) and (n) are both 2 or higher, m X1's may be all the same or different from each other, and so may also m X2's, n Y1's, and n Y2's.
