Abstract:
To provide a binder component capable of forming a dry film such as an image excellent in adhesion, rub resistance and anti-blocking properties, as well as being environmentally conscious.SOLUTION: A binder component is an A-B block copolymer containing a polymer chain A2 and a polymer chain B2. The polymer chain A2 is a water-insoluble polymer block containing 80 mass% or more of a constitutional unit, derived from methacrylate derived from a biological material, with a number-average molecular weight of 10,000 to 30,000, and a molecular-weight distribution of 1.6 or less. The polymer chain B2 is a polymer block containing a constitutional unit derived from a methacrylic acid, and also containing 40 to 90 mass% of a constitutional unit derived from methacrylate derived from a biological material, with an acid value of 50 to 150 mgKOH/g, and a number-average molecular weight of 5,000 to 20,000, in which at least a part of a carboxyl group is neutralized by alkali.SELECTED DRAWING: None
