Abstract:
To provide an injection molding machine that allows a metal mold of a metal mold device to smoothly open in transition from a mold clamp state to a mold open state of the metal mold device.SOLUTION: An injection molding machine 1 for injecting and molding a molding material comprises: a mold clamping device 31 for operating a metal mold device 101 between a mold clamp state and a mold open state; a hydraulic metal mold opening and closing device 62 to open and close a metal mold 124 included in the metal mold device 101; and a control device to control action of the mold clamp device 31 and the metal mold opening and closing device 62. In transition from the mold clamp state to the mold open state of the metal mold device 101, the control device commands the metal mold opening and closing device 62 to start mold opening of the metal mold 124 before commanding the mold clamp device 31 to end mold clamping of the metal mold device 101.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
