Abstract:
To obtain a binder resin for near-infrared-absorbing film, high in flexibility, highly adhesive even under moist heat without causing debonding and foaming, and also stably containing a near-infrared light absorber.
The binder resin for near-infrared-absorbing film is obtained by copolymerization between (A) 10-30 mass% of lauryl methacrylate and/or 2-ethylhexyl methacrylate, (B) 1-10 mass% of methacrylic acid, (C) 50-88 mass% of methyl methacrylate and (D) 1-60 mass% of a cycloolefin ring-containing monomer. This binder resin has a Tg of -10 to 70C and a weight-average molecular weight of 200,000-500,000.
