Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the longitudinal size of a binding tool for binding articles including cable harnesses with a tape, and facilitate the feed of the tape.
SOLUTION: A binding tool comprises a tool body 1, a carriage 12 adapted to move back and forth along carriage guides 13 and 14, a closed tension means 15, 16, 17 and 18 adapted to slide only in one direction to drive the carriage 12, and a drive engagement means 19 in the carriage 12. The carriage 12 is provided with an engagement lock means 22 and the like, which cooperate with the drive engagement means 19 in either region of the two progress parts 15 and 16. The engagement lock means 22 and the like which are arranged on the curved routes 17 and 18 between the progress parts 15 and 16 are coupled to guide tracks 20, 21 and 23 which receive the drive engagement means 19.
