Abstract:
To allow water to easily penetrate into a sheet by adding water from a plurality of positions of a pressure tooth when adding water content on a pressure-bonded range of the sheet made of a paper material to which the water content is penetrated.SOLUTION: A binding unit which pressure-bonds and binds sheets after adding water to the sheets to be placed includes: a pressure tooth 82 consisting of a mountain part 82a and a valley part 82b which are positioned at one face of the placed sheets and forms an irregularity on the sheets and an inclined part 82c connecting the mountain part 82a and the valley part 82b; and a receiving tooth positioned at the other face of the sheets and for meshing to the pressure tooth. The pressure tooth 82 has: a water reservoir part 88 for holding water to be added to the sheet on a rear face side of the irregularity; and a plurality of water supply holes 86 through which water in the water reservoir part can be added to the sheets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
