Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric communication exchange system with high reliability at a low cost with a device that has pluralities of port units interfacing pluralities of data links and has pluralities of switching groups having capability of exchanging one bit of data of each group from an external data link through the electronic communication exchange system and allows each port unit to directly control which switching group is active.
SOLUTION: A digital phase locked loop DPLL controller 608 averages differences of information of a phase and a frequency received by BSIU 111-115. The DPLL controller 608 gives the information relating to the average of to an oscillator adjustment circuit 606 to control an output of a local oscillator 605. Transmission between a bit slice controller 602 and a BSSU 120 is conducted based on a common time base. Then phase noise generates on each path going to a DTU 603 while the phase and frequency information is extracted by the BSIU 111.
