PURPOSE: To form a fiber blend having an accurate blending ratio so as to be able to change its blending ratio rapidly by forming each of different fiber components for blending from fiber aggregates and making the blend of the components by blending respectively changeable components.
CONSTITUTION: This method for blending textile fibers is provided by scraping fiber rugs from a fiber aggregate 2 on a conveyer belt 1 with a fiber opening member 3 and conveying the fiber rugs separated with a fiber opening drum 4 through a conveying conduit 5. The fiber rugs are conveyed to a blending device 6 and blended uniformly. The amount of individual fiber rug conveyed by the blending device is controlled by a controlling device 7 based on a controlling program.
