Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower capable of efficiently utilizing exhaust air.SOLUTION: A blower 1 includes: a body 2 consisting of a body part 5 incorporating a motor 4, and a spiral type blowing part 7 incorporating a centrifugal fan 6 and having a cylindrical jetting port 24; and a suction port 74 for sucking air with the drive of the centrifugal fan 6. The blowing part 7 is provided with an exhaust port 28 independent from the jetting port 24 along the rotating direction of the centrifugal fan 6 and a shutter 34 for opening/closing the exhaust port 28. Thus, the exhaust port 28 is opened during suction cleaning for sucking air from the suction port 74 and exhausting air from the exhaust port 28 to allow the use as a cleaner, or the exhaust port 28 is closed by the shutter 34 for sucking air from the suction port 74 and exhausting air from the jetting port 24 to allow the use as a blower.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
