To provide a light-emitting compound and light-emitting polymer, capable of emitting blue color light for a long period and excellent in durability.
This blue color light-emitting compound having a structure expressed by general formula (1). The method for producing the blue color light-emitting compound having the structure expressed by formula (1) is provided by performing the reaction of a halogen compound expressed by a specific formula with a hydrazide compound to obtain an intermediate compound and then subjecting the intermediate to dehydration and dehydrohalogenation.
