Abstract:
To provide a body fat synthesis inhibitor which comprises an inexpensive, easily available compound and is orally ingested to suppress synthesis and accumulation of excessive body fat, wherein the compound is free of safety concerns because it is contained in food with long history of food use and hardly has any side effect.
The synthesis and accumulation of the excessive body fat are suppressed through oral ingestion of the body fat synthesis inhibitor comprising at least one compound chosen from acetic acid and an acetate. The body fat synthesis inhibitor preferably contains the acetate, especially calcium acetate. The body fat synthesis inhibitor is used as food or pharmaceutical and is provided in the form of e.g. a capsule or a tablet.
