Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding device capable of forming an adhesive joint which sticks a front page in a state that end faces of a sheet bundle is aligned in a flush state.SOLUTION: A front alignment plate 231 has a rear face capable of contacting to a front end face of a sheet bundle 8 mounted on a mounting face 110A and extending to a vertical direction. A glue coating part 340 can coat glue from a front side to a rear direction of the sheet bundle 8 within a range of a glue coating area. The front alignment plate 231 aligns the front end face of the sheet bundle 8 along a vertical direction within the range of the glue coating area so as to become an approximately flush state by contacting to the front end face of the sheet bundle 8. The glue coating part 340 coats the glue within the range of the glue coating area for forming an adhesive joint to which a front page can be stuck on the front end face of the sheet bundle 8 aligned by the front alignment plate 231.
