Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding device capable of uniformly applying paste to an end surface of a paper bundle of stacking a plurality of sheets.SOLUTION: While supplying a plurality of sheets to a placing surface 110A, a front end surface of a paper bundle 8 is aligned in a state of displacing an opposed surface 150A to a contact position. Next, a front edge part of the paper bundle 8 is pressed by a second pressing surface 202A existing in an action position, and a different part from the front edge part of the paper bundle 8 is also pressed by a first pressing surface 201A, by displacing a pressing plate 200 to a pressing position from a non-pressing position. Next, a second plate 202 is displaced to a non-action position from an action position, and the opposed surface 150A is displaced to a non-contact position from a contact position, and paste is applied to the front end surface of the paper bundle 8 by a cover holding mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
