Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding device capable of improving bookbinding strength with a simplified configuration.SOLUTION: There is provided a bookbinding device 1 that collectively binds plural pieces of sheets P, the bookbinding device 1 comprising a middle folding unit 51 that folds the sheet P in the middle to form folds, a middle folding sheet feeding unit 52 that feeds the middle folded sheet P with the formed folds being aligned until all of the plural pieces of sheets P which is the subject of binding is complete, and a middle folding sheet binding unit 53 that collectively binds the plural pieces of middle folded sheets P on the side for folding with the folds being aligned, and the middle folding sheet feeding unit 52 has pressing force feeding means for feeding the middle folded sheet with being pressed from both sides and folded in the middle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
