Abstract:
To provide bookbinding excellent in initial adhesive strength.SOLUTION: The bookbinding bonds paper sheets and covers with an adhesive agent. The adhesive agent is characteristically a moisture-curable polyurethane hot-melt adhesive agent that contains an urethane prepolymer having an isocyanate group and a vinyl group. The moisture-curable polyurethane hot-melt adhesive agent that contains an urethane prepolymer having an isocyanate group and a vinyl group is applied to the cover and is irradiated with ultraviolet, and characteristically, thereafter paper sheets are pasted. The molar ratio (NCO/Vinyl) between the isocyanate group (NCO) and the vinyl group (Vinyl) in the urethane prepolymer is preferably in the range of 90/10 to 10/90.SELECTED DRAWING: None
