Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a boot package free from looseness of the packaging paper and having an elegant appearance.
CONSTITUTION: A rectangularly cut packaging paper P is folded double with the sole B3 of a boot BL held into contact with the bottom packaging part P1 thereof at an intermediate part in the longitudinal direction and a pair of side packing parts P2 and P3 are brought into contact with both the side faces of the boot BL. The front and rear edges E1 and E2 of the side packaging part P2 are folded over toward the opposite side face of the boot BL, the front and rear edges E1 and E2 of the side packaging part P3 are then folded over toward the opposite side face of the boot BL and finally the edges E3 and E4 of the side packaging parts P2 and P3 are folded inwardly of the opening of the body part B2 of the boot BL to complete all the packaging operations.
